New York drops a ball…Medford Lakes drops a canoe!
Back by popular demand, the Mad Paddlers present the 4th annual Medford Lakes Canoe Drop on New Year’s Eve!
They will be hosting 2 events for Medford Lakes residents on Tuesday, Dec. 31st.
Both events are free to attend. However, the concession sales and donations will help cover the costs of the event.
From 5:00-6:30 PM, they will host a family friendly event which will include music and fire pits. The Canoe Drop will happen at precisely 6 PM. S’mores kits, treats, hot chocolate, water, glow wands, etc. will be available for purchase. Cash and Venmo accepted. All kids must be accompanied by an adult.
The main event will start at 11:00 PM and conclude at 12:30 AM.
The MLPD has asked that everyone be off the beach by 12:30 AM. Please note that many members of our community are coming together to make this event happen: Police Department, Fire Department, ML Colony, etc. Please make sure that all attendees are being respectful of, and adhering to, all Colony and Borough rules during the event, so that this event can continue to happen year after year.
