ML CAMP UPDATE
It is with deep sadness that I have to inform you that the Medford Lakes Colony Summer Camp and its associated programs will be canceled . We have put off making the decision so we could monitor the most up to date COVID-19 news. However, after much deliberation, we feel that we would be jeopardizing the safety of our campers and our staff if we move forward with camp as planned. Changing the protocol of camp jeopardizes the integrity and traditions of our program. Sadly, there is no winning in this situation. We will not risk the health of anyone and have been following the latest advice of the medical experts. We will honor all campers advancement for this year as long as the camper was registered last year. We will also honor all incoming first year campers. Information about BSR's (Bronze Shield Recipients) will be coming out at a later date regarding their shields.
If you registered a camper, you will be issued a refund (minus a $5 processing fee that the Medford Lakes Colony pays for credit card usage). If you do not see a refund by June 9th, please email firstname.lastname@example.org .
Any questions please contact Vice President of Recreation Angela McCrum at email@example.com.
During the month of July, Medford Lakes Colony offers a day camp for Medford Lakes children ranging from pre-school through 8th grade. Children enjoy activities including arts and crafts, swimming, canoeing, field games, and music that they bike to throughout the town depending upon their age. All children must have a parent or relative with a current membership to attend. Counselors interested in applying for a position should download and submit the application form at the bottom of this page.
We look forward to seeing all of you for another amazing fun-filled summer!
NJ State Code requires Youth Camps, like the MLC Summer Camp, to have every registered camper’s immunization record on file.
The NJ Health Department also allows us to accept valid medical and religious exemptions.
At your earliest convenience, if you have not done so already, please drop off, fax, email, or mail a current copy of your camper’s immunization records to the Colony Office – thank you for helping us be compliant!
