

MEDFORD LAKES COLONY CAMP

During the month of July, Medford Lakes Colony offers a day camp for Medford Lakes children ranging from preschool through 8th grade. Children enjoy activities including arts and crafts, swimming, canoeing, field games, and music that they bike to throughout the town depending upon their age. All children must have a parent or grandparent with a current membership to attend.

THANK YOU, DARRIN!
We have received notice from Darrin Doyle that he will not be returning to the Medford Lakes Summer Camp program next year. Darrin has been the director for the past 10 years, and Upper Camp has flourished under his leadership. Many campers have benefited due to his dedication and enthusiasm for camp. The Colony Board of Directors extends its sincere appreciation to Darrin Doyle and wishes him the very best in his future endeavors.
HELP WANTED – UPPER CAMP DIRECTOR
Medford Lakes Colony is in need of an Upper Camp Director for the 2026 summer camp season. The Camp Director will assume overall leadership of Upper Camp, staff selection and day-to-day operations. The Camp Director provides leadership, instructional supervision for staff, and interacts daily with campers, staff and families. The Camp Director also works closely with their teams, developing the creative, fun, and wacky traditions that make our camp unique. Interested applicants should submit an online employment application & resume on the Colony’s website by Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
HELP WANTED
The Colony will also need an “Extended Hours” Camp Director & Upper Camp Swim Instructor for the 2026 summer camp season. If you are interested in applying for any of these positions or would like your application on file for any other future openings, please submit an online employment application & resume on the Colony’s website.
Colony Camp Dates 2026​
ML Colony Camp will be held from
Mon., June 29th - Fri., July 24th
for children entering grades 1-9
8:30 am – 1:30 pm, Monday – Friday
** Grades 1-4: Day begins behind Nokomis School
** Grades 5-8: Day begins at Brooks Field
** Grade 9/10: Day begins with assigned group

"Extended Hours" Program will be held from
Mon., June 29th – Thurs., July 23rd
for children entering grades 1-5
1:30 – 6:00 pm, Monday – Friday
If Camp is canceled for the day, EH will run from 8:30 am – 6:00 pm
If Camp has an early dismissal, EH will run from Camp’s dismissal to 6:00 pm
Preschool Camp will be held from
Mon., June 29th - Fri., July 24th
for potty-trained children ages 3, 4, 5, and 6
(or if entering Kindergarten in Sept. 2026)
9:00 am – 12:30 pm, Monday – Friday,
at Nokomis School - more dates & hours added for 2026!
Five-Year-Old Swim will be held from
Mon., June 29th - Fri., July 24th
for children entering Kindergarten in Sept. 2026
Sessions will be held at 1:45 pm, 2:15 pm,
or 2:45 pm, Monday – Friday, at Beach 3

Notice
NJ State Code requires Youth Camps, like the MLC Summer Camp, to have every registered camper’s immunization record on file.
The NJ Health Department also allows us to accept valid medical and religious exemptions.
At your earliest convenience, if you have not done so already, please drop off, fax, email, or mail a current copy of your camper’s immunization records to the Colony Office – thank you for helping us be compliant!
