During the month of July, Medford Lakes Colony offers a day camp for Medford Lakes children ranging from pre-school through 8th grade. Children enjoy activities including arts and crafts, swimming, canoeing, field games, and music that they bike to throughout the town depending upon their age. All children must have a parent or grandparent with a current membership to attend. Counselors interested in applying for a position should download and submit the application form at the bottom of this page.

Lower Camp for Grades 1-4 – $310.00 => $335.00 (June 7th)
Upper Camp for Grades 5-8 – $325.00 => $350.00 (June 7th)
Grades 9 & 10 (BSR) – $326.00 => $351.00 (June 7th)

** Grade 9/10:  Day begins with assigned group


"Extended Hours" Program will be held from

Mon., July 5 - Thurs., July 29

1:30 pm – 6:00 pm, Monday – Friday

If camp is canceled for the day, EH will run from 8:30 am – 6:00 pm

If camp has an early dismissal, EH will run from camp’s dismissal to 6:00 pm


“Extended Hours” for August will be held from

Mon., August 2 – Fri., August 27

for children entering grades K-5

8:30 am – 6:00 pm, Monday – Friday

Parents will be able to pick and choose which week(s) they would

like their child(ren) to attend – 4 weeks (or sessions) in total

If Lower and Upper Camp are canceled or dismissed early due to inclement weather, "Extended Hours" will resume for the remainder of the day until 6:00 pm. For days Lower and Upper Camp are canceled, "Extended Hours" runs for a full day from 8:30 am - 6:00 pm. Please be advised, for these days, a packed lunch with a drink - preferably one without any peanut / tree-nut products - and additional snacks must be brought with your child(ren). Light snacks will be provided.

Preschool Camp will be held from

for potty-trained children ages 3, 4, and 5

9:00 am – 11:00 am, Monday – Friday, at Neeta School


Five-Year-Old Swim will be held from

Mon., July 5 - Fri., July 30, 2021, at Beach #3

for children entering kindergarten in September 2021

Sessions will be held at 1:45 pm, 2:15 pm, or 2:45 pm

Can you please donate to the Medford Lakes Colony Camp Scholarship Fund?
No amount is too small to give. So far there have been many applications to the Camp Scholarship Program, and we expect more children to register for Camp asking for a scholarship. If you can give to this fund, please make checks payable to the “Medford Lakes Colony,” and drop it off at the Colony Office. Kayak/Stand Up Paddleboard Instructor
The MLC is looking for a Kayak/Stand Up Paddleboard Instructor for Lower Camp (Grades 1-4). This position is considered a seasonal, Supervisory Adult (over 18) Counselor and will be expected to work all days of camp. Valid Instructor and/or Lifeguard (with Waterfront Skills) Certification(s) are highly recommended.

Senior Counselors
The ML Colony Camp is now accepting Employment Applications for Senior Counselors. Senior Counselors are considered seasonal, Supervisory Adult (over 18) Counselors, and they will be expected to work all days of Camp. Senior Counselors are responsible for a designated group of campers, as well as the Junior Counselors hired for that group of campers.

Do you want to be a part of something fun and exciting? The ML Colony Preschool Camp Program is need of Teachers! Preschool Camp will run from July 12th – 23rd from 9:00 – 11:00 am at Neeta School. NJ State Code requires Youth Camps, like the MLC Summer Camp, to have every registered camper’s immunization record on file.

The NJ Health Department also allows us to accept valid medical and religious exemptions.

At your earliest convenience, if you have not done so already, please drop off, fax, email, or mail a current copy of your camper’s immunization records to the Colony Office – thank you for helping us be compliant!
