MEDFORD LAKES COLONY CAMP 2021

During the month of July, Medford Lakes Colony offers a day camp for Medford Lakes children ranging from pre-school through 8th grade. Children enjoy activities including arts and crafts, swimming, canoeing, field games, and music that they bike to throughout the town depending upon their age. All children must have a parent or relative with a current membership to attend. Counselors interested in applying for a position should download and submit the application form at the bottom of this page.

Lower Camp for Grades 1-4 – $235.00 (March) to $245.00 (April)

Upper Camp for Grades 5-8 – $250.00 (March ) to $260.00 (April)

Grades 9 & 10 (BSR) – $251.00 (March) to $261.00 (April)

 

“Extended Hours” (Grades K-5) – $525.00 (March) to $550.00 (April) for 4 weeks

“Extended Hours” for AUGUST (Grades K-5) – $ 250.00 (March) to $275.00 (April) per week per child

 

Preschool Camp (ages 3, 4 & 5) – $ 125.00 (March) to $130.00 (April)

 

Five-Year-Old Swim – $ 100.00 (March) to $105.00 (April)

Colony Camp Dates 2021

ML Colony Camp will be held from

Mon., July 5 - Fri., July 30

for children entering grades 1-9

8:30 am – 1:30 pm, Monday – Friday

 

** Grades 1-4:  Day begins behind Nokomis School

** Grades 5-8:  Day begins at Brooks Field

** Grade 9/10:  Day begins with assigned group

 

"Extended Hours" Program will be held from

Mon., July 5 - Thurs., July 29

*Closed July 30th*

for children entering grades K-5

1:30 pm – 6:00 pm, Monday – Friday

If camp is canceled for the day, EH will run from 8:30 am – 6:00 pm

If camp has an early dismissal, EH will run from camp’s dismissal to 6:00 pm

 

“Extended Hours” for August will be held from

Mon., August 2 – Fri., August 27

for children entering grades K-5

8:30 am – 6:00 pm, Monday – Friday

Parents will be able to pick and choose which week(s) they would

like their child(ren) to attend – 4 weeks (or sessions) in total

 

Preschool Camp will be held from

Mon., July 12 - Fri., July 23

for potty-trained children ages 3, 4, and 5

9:00 am – 11:00 am, Monday – Friday, at Neeta School

 

Five-Year-Old Swim will be held from

Mon., July 5 - Fri., July 30, 2021, at Beach #3

for children entering kindergarten in September 2021

Sessions will be held at 1:45 pm, 2:15 pm, or 2:45 pm

Donations Needed for Camp Scholarship Program

Can you please donate to the Medford Lakes Colony Camp Scholarship Fund?
No amount is too small to give. So far there have been many applications to the Camp Scholarship Program, and we expect more children to register for Camp asking for a scholarship. If you can give to this fund, please make checks payable to the “Medford Lakes Colony,” and drop it off at the Colony Office. Camp is a wonderful opportunity for our youth to enjoy summer in Medford Lakes! Thank you very much for your consideration!

Job Opportunity for 2020 Bronze Shield Recipients
If 2020 was your Bronze Shield year (9th year at Camp) and you are interested in a job at Camp, please complete an Employment Application found on the Colony’s website and return it to the Colony Office by April 9th. Interviews will be scheduled after April 9th.

Kayak/Stand Up Paddleboard Instructor
The MLC is looking for a Kayak/Stand Up Paddleboard Instructor for Lower Camp (Grades 1-4). This position is considered a seasonal, Supervisory Adult (over 18) Counselor and will be expected to work all days of camp. Valid Instructor and/or Lifeguard (with Waterfront Skills) Certification(s) are highly recommended.

Senior Counselors
The ML Colony Camp is now accepting Employment Applications for Senior Counselors. Senior Counselors are considered seasonal, Supervisory Adult (over 18) Counselors, and they will be expected to work all days of Camp. Senior Counselors are responsible for a designated group of campers, as well as the Junior Counselors hired for that group of campers

Notice

NJ State Code requires Youth Camps, like the MLC Summer Camp, to have every registered camper’s immunization record on file.

The NJ Health Department also allows us to accept valid medical and religious exemptions.

At your earliest convenience, if you have not done so already, please drop off, fax, email, or mail a current copy of your camper’s immunization records to the Colony Office – thank you for helping us be compliant!
